‘Glimpses of Transformation: Creative Approaches for Crossing the Frontiers of Resilience’ will accept short fiction pieces of 500-3,500 words and encourages submissions from a wide variety of voices using a diverse range of forms, including non-linear, non-binary, dendritic, circular, or experimental narratives and story structures.
Using the storylines of our eight transformative pathways as a guide, submissions should offer a glimpse of a desirable future, explicitly inviting visions that venture beyond the limits of current forecasts, projections, and imagination.
Selected pieces will be published and showcased at the United Nations Climate Change Conference, COP 30 in Brazil in November 2025.
Submissions will be accepted until September 30th, 2025. Only one entry is permitted per participant, and all entries must be original, previously unpublished works in English with a length of 500 to 3,500 words. Participants must hold the sole copyright for any submitted text.
